1 teacup uncooked rice, 275 grams cauliflower (cut into big pieces), 175 grams green peas, 225 grams small potatoes (whole), 2 sticks cinnamon, 2 chopped onions, 2 cloves, 2 bay leaves, 2 tbsp ghee, Salt to taste.
To be ground into a paste:
1 big bunch fresh coriander, 6 green chillies, 1 piece ginger 10 cloves of garlic.
Heat the ghee in a vessel and fry the onions for a minute.
Add the paste and fry for atleast 3 to 4 minutes.
Add the cinnamon, cloves, cardamoms and bay leaves and fry for one minute.
Add the rice, vegetables, salt and VICHARE PULAV MASALA with enough water to cook.
Cover and cook slowly until the water is absorbed and the vegetables are cooked.
Serve with kadhi (curry) or curds.
200 grams whole green moong, 2-3 tsp oil, Half tsp cumin seeds, a pinch of asafetida(hing), 1-2 boiled potatoes, Sweet chutney, Pungent chutney, Puris, 100 grams bundi, VICHARE PANI PURI MASALA
Add 4 teaspoons of VICHARE PANI PURI MASALA in 1 litre water. The Pani for the Pani puri is ready.
Put water soaked whole green moong in a vessel.
Add 2-3 teaspoon Oil, cumin seeds, asafoetida & little water to it and fry for some time till it get dry. Keep them separately.
Cut Boiled Potatoes into small pieces. While serving upto 7-8 Puris (crushed in the centre) in a dish. Put bundi, peeled potatoes fried green moong, sweet & pungent chutney in it along with pani puri water, which is taken in a separate bowl Serves.
A preparation which goes very well with the gujarati khichdi although it can be served well with puris, parathas and rice as well.
450 grams cauliflower, 450 grams potatoes, 450 grams green peas, 3 chopped onions, Half teacup chopped coriander, Half-teaspoon turmeric powder, 4 teaspoons dhana-jira powder (coriander cumin powder), 3-4 teaspoons chilli powder, 6 tablespoons oil, 1 teaspoon VICHARE GARAM MASALA, Salt to taste, 2 tablespoons chopped coriander for decoration.
Cut the vegetables into big pieces.
Mix the chopped coriander, turmeric powder, dhana jira powder (coriander cumin powder), chilli powder and chopped onions. Make a paste and add 2 tablespoons of oil and salt very well.
100 grams onion, 200 grams potatoes, 200 grams green peas, 100 grams onion, 100 grams tomatoes, 500 grams butter, 2 cubes of cheese, VICHARE "PAV BHAJI MASALA".
Cut Onions into small pieces.
Put butter on hot pan and add Onions to it and fry them till they get reddish.
